• Before beginning any work on the lamp, disconnect it from the mains power by removing the fuse or unplugging the power plug. This also applies to cleaning, maintenance, and replacing bulbs.
• Lamps become very hot near the lighting point. Never touch the lamp when switched on or still hot. Risk of burns.
• Bulbs may only be replaced by competent personnel. Use only bulbs of the same type and voltage rating.
• Lamps are not toys. Keep away from children.
• If the lamp is damaged — especially the cord or socket — discontinue use immediately and have it repaired by a qualified electrician. Never attempt to repair the lamp yourself.
• Protection Class I: Must be connected to a protective earth terminal (green-yellow wire).
• Protection Class II: Particularly insulated — must not be connected to a protective earth terminal.
• Do not damage electric lines during installation.
• Terminal designations: L – phase, N – neutral conductor, ⏚ – protective conductor.
• Do not exceed the specified mains voltage.
• Minimum clearance between emitter edge and illuminated surface: ≥ 0.5 m.
• Only replace defective lamps with lamps of the same design, wattage, and voltage.
• Clean luminaire surfaces only with a dry cloth. Do not allow moisture to enter wiring spaces or contact current-carrying parts.
• Plug and connection elements must be free from tension and torsional stress.
